I wonder though. Is it your highest and best. Were you really on the wrong path or were you just moving too slow to know. A U-turn never seems to take one forward.

Do what you must, but keep one eye to the sky. If the Angel you wished for was to fly, thus proving it's status of Angel, the Devil you know is now YOUR cop out not to fly.

Fly. As soon as you someone shows you it can be done. Fly.

OR, never, ever look into the sky.

Isn't this a b%#ch! You love, you want, you need, you might not get, you want to lash out and that will probably only make it worse. We just don't get to hit as many people as we could in the good old caveman days and yeah, that really steams the "inner caveman." Our inner caveman wants to smack somebody up.

There have been many a wall in college dorms that have suffered the wrath of this feeling.
But it's not just about the touchy-feely, make-out love, this applies to much of what's going on in our life.

Fighting to save the environment, fighting to stop our politicians from blowing up villages, fighting to stop the cultural decay of the North American Human, fighting to save endangered species. To fight for the things we love. We have to take the lumps from fighting for it. Toughen up people, there is going to be a fight. For all that I listed and more.

But remember, you just can't go smacking people up. Bad caveman.

We are attracted to 2 things, loves and lessons.

It's almost impossible to tell them apart since the feeling of attraction is nearly identical. A wise woman once told me, "The only way to determine the difference, is that love will be the one that is most like what you love about yourself. The lesson will be the one that has the most things you dislike about yourself."

Now it's up to you to pay attention, or be doomed to live the philosophy of a shampoo bottle; rinse and repeat.

You can't turn a lesson into love, but if you're not careful
you might turn a love into a lesson.
